Winter Pet Safety

  • Keep your pet away from anitfreeze which is poisonous.
  • Don't leave your pet outside unattended when the temperatures drop.
  • Short-coated dogs need to wear a sweater/coat in the cold.
  • Many dogs need boots during bad weather.
  • Prevent ice balls by cutting hair away from dog's feet.
  • After a walk on a salted sidewalk, wash your dogs paws.
  • Keep your cat indoors in the winter.
  • Outside cats will seek warm car engines. Be careful starting your car.
